Reunion Concert at London's O2 Arena a Smash Hit

The biggest concert to hit England in 30 years surprised many in attendance. Onlookers found not just a reunited band going through the motions of their biggest hits, but they actually sounded good, and most were surprised to hear the singer hit his high notes.

Of course, I am talking about The Beatles, who were reanimated and reunited for a one-off charity gig on Monday at London's O2 arena. John, Paul, George and Ringo came together to honor legendary band manager Lou Pearlman, who is in an Indonesian jail on fraud charges and allegations of child rape. As the band walked/rolled on a dolly on stage, the crowd lept to its feet as they launched into their classic Love Me Do. The performance was rocky at first, what with John Lennon being dead for 27 years, his guitar playing was a little rusty. Soon they worked all the kinks out and rolled into their biggest hits, including Hey Jude, I Want To Hold Your Hand, and Free As A Bird.

So how could I dance with another, Oh when I saw her standing there

Proceeds from the concert went to benefit the North American Man-Boy Love Association, or as it's known, UNICEF. Fans were surprised at how well George Harrison and John Lennon looked after being deceased for so long, but were amazed that their abilities have diminished very little. And just to prove that everything old is new again, Ringo Starr is still a disappointment to millions.
