Ante Meridiem Eye Openers-October 15, 2008CE

1) The 3rd and final debate begins tonight at 8pm central on your television. Seriously, just turn the box on and watch. You cannot escape it. The debate will hunt your family like a wounded animal in the rainforest and when it catches them it will bore them to death with prearranged questions and stump speeches. Your wife will lie in the dirt, her interest at her side, unmoving, unflinching, and she will know the true terror of the three headed dog monster, known in Greek mythology as Mcbamafer.

2) When little old nuns who have no stake in the past, present, or future of America get to vote, then everyone sighs with awe at how darn cute she is. Just look at the little lady, sitting there, peeing herself and calling the males around her "father" because she truly believes each and every one of them are her long dead father.

3) In sports, The Tampa Bay Rays are one win away from their first World Series, in the year of their first postseason appearance, in the first decade of their existence, in the first 4.2 billion years of the earth's existence. And they did it in convincing fashion, beating the Bawstan Red Sawx 13-4.
File this one under "no fucking shit", as Pacman Jones no longer reserves the right to be addressed as Adam. Although there was no criminal conduct in his latest battle against his own humanity, the Iron Fist of Goodell decided he violated the league's personal conduct policy and bounced him for at least 4 games. Oh Dallas Cowboys' playoff hopes, how we hardly knew ye!

4) I suppose life might not be all peaches and cream for the children of one of the most respected and beloved figures in American history. The King children are in court to contest this that or the other and that's so sad. They should really leave that kind of stuff to the old money rich people that everyone hates already.

5) Remember that file I told you to put the Pacman Jones thing? Well grab this and put it in there also. Looks like that folder is getting pretty big...

6) So here is the thing. I just saw a movie about this. Just watched it again for the first time in years last week. And I have to remind you: it's awesome!!!

I leave you with the video I took from the Dodger game Monday night. Manny hits an RBI double and the crowd goes wild. 24 hits and I just uploaded last night!!!
