1) This rare skin disease makes you wonder just how many of these rare, disfiguring, fucked-up diseases there are out there. And if I keep making fun of people, exactly how many of them can my future children contract/inherit concurrently? Because karma says about all of them.
2) Bo Diddley, the man who invented the Bo Diddley beat, most commonly heard in the song "Bo Diddley" has died. The guitar pioneer, whose beat was used by Buddy Holly to write one of my favorite songs, Not Fade Away, influenced just about everyone and was a true musical pioneer. Does anyone else notice and a shit ton of people are dying lately?
3) In Sports, I watched most of the Detroit/Pittsburgh game last night, then left the bar during the 2nd overtime. And I forgot to pick it back up when I got home, so needless to say, it was news to me also, that the Penguins pulled out a 3 overtime win to extend the series at least one more game. History is on the tippytoes of the verge of occurring, when the best chance of a Triple Crown, Big Brown, will run The Preakness on Saturday. I for one am excited. There is no one who hates Ken Griffey Jr. I don't know any one who roots against the guy. He's the nicest guy in baseball and just has had a tough time with injuries. he should have been the best player who ever lived. My boy, Carlos Zambrano, hit a stand up RBI triple last night against the Padres. That's the pitcher, folks. This is the year!
4) Stephen Colbert is great. Done.
5) In Science, we have found yet another extrasolar planet. We find these most everyday, and it's just time before we find evidence of life on other planets.
Well, that's about it. It's like Tony Kornheiser said: "Goodnight Canada!"
